We are actively seeking passionate Viking reenactors to join our immersive encampment at Viking Fest Minnesota. This is a unique opportunity to bring the Viking Age to life for thousands of attendees through authentic portrayals and demonstrations. If you stay during the living history week (between festival weekends) you will get to take free classes and experience an authentic encampment experience without all of the guests.​

Why Participate?

• Showcase Your Skills: Demonstrate traditional Viking crafts, combat techniques, and daily life activities to an engaged audience.​

• Educate and Inspire: Share your knowledge of Viking history and culture, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation among festival-goers.​

• Compensation: We can cover the cost of travel and possibly a small per diem. Let us know what you require in the application.​

What We’re Looking For:

• Authentic Representations: Reenactors who can accurately portray Viking Age life, including attire, tools, and practices.​

• Interactive Demonstrations: Individuals or groups willing to engage with the public through workshops, storytelling, combat reenactments, and craft displays.​

• Collaborative Spirit: Team players eager to contribute to a cohesive and dynamic encampment experience.​
