Viking Fest Minnesota is full of all kinds of activities, from mystery quests ready to be solved by you, to incredible performances and entertainment. Come see live entertainment and performers, with categories like comedy, action, and music!
Animals of the Viking Age.
To really immerse you in history, and bring you back in time, multiple animals with Scandinavian roots have been brought together. These animals include Icelandic Chickens and Icelandic Horses from the USIHC, which will be on display at the festival.
Contests and Games.
Play games from the viking age such as Nine Men’s Morris and Hnefatafl, as well as engage in a number of other games and contests such as axe throwing and testing your strength and worthiness through Thor’s hammer!
Arts and Crafts for Kids.
Get your kids engaged with hands on arts and crafts, with a multitude of different coloring pages to choose from, as well as safe but fun swords and shields!
Solve the Rune Quest.
Along side arts and crafts, families can enjoy a full scale puzzle! Around the grounds of the festival, there will be runes etched into signs. Each of these runes are associated with a placement on a Rune Quest card that you can solve!
Solve these Rune Quest mysteries to earn rewards, with a new quest and different runes on each day of the festival!
