Heat from the bonfires rolls over the crowd like a tide, sparks skittering up into the dark as fire dancers carve bright runes in the air.
Across the camp, laughter erupts. A challenge is thrown, a game is won, and someone swears they’ve never tasted food this good. Belly dancers cut through the drumline with silk and steel, hips meeting heartbeat, while the next chorus surges to meet them. Storytellers stake their claim by the campfire, and the circle tightens: gods bartering with giants, heroes tangled in fate, tricksters with pockets full of trouble. The flames lean in; so do you.
